Grounds Keepers began operations on January 1, 1976, as a design/build company called "The Growing Concern." By 1977, we had diversified into commercial landscape maintenance. Today, Grounds Keepers is solely dedicated to quality commercial landscaping, with our corporate headquarters located at 6021 Winsome Lane for over fifty years. Our team brings decades of expertise to every project.

Our Experienced Team
We currently employ over 55 dedicated professionals. Our workforce includes Nine maintenance crews, two landscape crews, two irrigation technicians, two night time sweepers, and four supervisors. Our management team offers over a century of combined experience in landscaping, maintenance, and irrigation services within the Houston area. Notably, sixty-five percent of our workforce has been with Grounds Keepers for eighteen years or more.
Committed to Immediate Customer Service
Customer service is the pride of our supervisors, foremen, sales, and office staff. Each team member is equipped with a cellular phone for contact during the day. After-hours calls are directed to voicemail, which is checked at the employee's discretion.
Maintenance Scheduling & Flexibility
We schedule over 240 properties at the start of each month and strive to maintain that schedule. If a holiday or rain day occurs, we service the property on the next available day. Customers can change a service date with just 24 hours' notice prior to routing.
Proactive Irrigation Management
Our irrigation technicians provide monthly monitoring and system checks. You receive a report detailing any malfunctioning heads or valves, along with an itemized repair estimate. In emergencies, we dispatch personnel immediately to shut down the system, followed by necessary repairs.
Backflow Prevention
Backflow prevention plays an important role in protecting your water system. We perform routine check-ups to ensure that everything is functioning properly and within required standards. We have the ability to certify and test your backflow prevention device to ensure it is in compliance with state law.
